The General Assembly of the ENCJ (European Network of Councils for the Judiciary) elected
the National Judicial Council (OBT) as a member of the ENCJ Executive Board for the
2026–2028 period on June 3, 2026, in Paris. Dr. Ágnes Hild, a member of the OBT, acts on
behalf of the OBT.
The ENCJ has formulated three key strategic objectives for the new period 2026–2029:
- the protection and promotion of the rule of law and judicial independence,
- strengthening mutual trust between European judicial councils,
- supporting the digital transformation of judicial councils.
Membership in the Executive Board creates an opportunity for the OBT to actively contribute
to the achievement of ENCJ's strategic objectives and to the strengthening of European
judicial cooperation.
